*About Mrs. Jensen*
Hello, and welcome to my webpage! I wanted to share a little about myself with you...
I was born and raised in Sleepy Eye, which is just fifteen miles East of Springfield. I now live here in Springfield with my husband, Riley, our six year old daughter, Everly, and our two year old son, Rhett. We have 2 dogs, a chocolate lab and a yellow lab, both of which enjoy hunting during the fall with my husband.
This is my twelfth year of teaching here at Springfield Public School. I spent my first three years teaching 2nd grade and now teach Kindergarten. I also work as an ECFE instructor on Monday evenings and am a coach for the River Valley Speech Team, which consists of Springfield and Sleepy Eye students. I love being able to work with kids full time. I am somewhat of a big kid at heart so teaching has become the perfect job for me. I find it to be both exciting and rewarding to watch as kids learn new things and grow each day.
In my free time, I enjoy being with my family, going to the cabin/lake, reading, and watching my daughter grow and change each day. I am also a big fan of being involved with or watching theatre. I love to sing, dance, play guitar, and act so you will often find me involved in the community theatre productions for both Springfield and Sleepy Eye. Some of my favorite things include:gummy candies, caribou coffee, holiday socks, fun sipper cups (with straws), HGTV, caramels, Disney movies, and of course...Teaching :)
