“Investing in Our Future by Building on Our Solid Foundation”
On February 9, 2021, residents in the Springfield School District will have the opportunity to vote on a two question facilities bond referendum. The vote will determine whether the district will be able to make necessary repairs and update our facilities to provide a safer and healthier learning environment for all and programming opportunities for our kids. It has been more than 28 years, longest in school history, since the Springfield School District has addressed the needs of the school facility through a bond referendum.

Each player must have their spectators designated by noon on the day of the game. No changes to this list will be allowed at the site of the game.

Monday, January 4th in-person learning for all students (PreK-12th grade) will resume.
An email was sent today (Dec. 23rd) on the modifications we will need to make to our weekly school calendar to accommodate the governor executive order for additional prep time for staff. We have reviewed the options of a 12:30 p.m. early dismissal the last day of the school week and understand that can create a mid-day pick-up of students issue for families. We are also considering having students distance learn on the last day of the week in the morning and providing meal deliveries that day. This would reinforce that routine and could be more family friendly.
Local school districts have been receiving guidance documents from MDE without fore notice. I understand and regret the changes and disruption this brings.
Our school district will continue to work hard to communicate with families and advocate for the needs of children while we provide a safe learning environment for all.

Those students who will be participating on an athletic team or in an activity need to sign the MSHSL Eligibility Brochure. This should be done online and by using your e-signatures.
