Common Sense Media has been my 'go to' for quite awhile. Major media are reviewed to see what is appropriate for certain ages and why it is or is not appropriate.
You can opt in for email notices, but you don't have to.
See if the movie, video game, book, or app is appropriate for your child. Than as always, review it based on your own family critieria.
The site is also great for finding different/ new books, movies, film, apps, etc.
