• Meet the Teacher:

I am beyond excited to introduce myself to you and your family as Springfield Public School’s preschool teacher for the 2016-2017 school year!

My name is Mrs. Amber Vogel.  I grew up up here in Springfield where I learned to absolutely love the small town pride and kindness this community has to offer!  I was raised in a family of 5., and just recently got married.  I graduated from St. Cloud State University with a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education.  This will be my third year teaching preschool and ECFE in Springfield.  I have worked with young children in many different settings over the past eleven years including school settings, summer programs, and three different daycare programs.  Currently, I am finishing out my sixth summer working at St. John’s V.I.K. Club.  With fall quickly approaching, I am anxious to be back in the preschool classroom and helping your child learn and grow!

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends – especially my nieces and nephews, coaching t-ball, going for motorcycle rides, going shopping, being crafty, life on the farm, and living life to the fullest!

I am very excited to get to know your family throughout the year!  I’m also very eager to help your child/ren succeed both inside and outside of the classroom, adjust to a structured school setting, and improve skills both academically and socially/emotionally.  Feel free to e-mail or call with any questions.
