Students Prepare for State Tests with Study Island

February 26, 2008

Recently, Springfield Public Schools subscribed to Study Island, an online study tool for students and teachers to practice concepts for state testing. Their motto is to build from state standards so that students can become successful. The training that students receive is self-paced with dynamic content that is skill specific. We allow students to use Study Island in multiple modes, including a test style mode and an interactive game style.

Currently, we have 2nd through 8th graders enrolled in this program. This program is web-based, so students will be able to study from home as well as in school. Most student enjoy using the software, and we are very excited about that.
